I`d like to call this one a post new year post. Since I started this blog many interesting things happened in my life. As you should have read I have started this blog on Gandhi`s birthday to criticise Gandhi but in these few months the way i think changed. It took a U -turn and subsequently i became a fan of gandhi. The major contributer in the process being the humanities course which i took up last semester and the Hind-Swaraj which I had to read for the quiz .I swear i never understood Gandhi before .I understand the power of truth now . Mahatma you are great .The first post of this year eventually happens to be the day of martyrdom of gandhi.
I have started reading `my experiments with truth` in this book Gandhi confesses about his carnal desire which deprived him of spending time with his father on the last day of his life.You should have guts to confess . Gandhi you are great in that respect
One other thing which impressed me greatly was the way Bapu managed his time .
I heard it somewhere .Once Bapu and his secretary were going to Darjeeling they going up a hill while the coach of the train they were travelling got separated from the engine and it started accelerating down people in the carriage felt as if they were going to die .Then gandhiji calls the secretary and says "I`ll dictate a letter you write down". The secretary says "we are goin to die in 5 minutes or so and you want
to dictate a letter?".Gandhiji says "If we are going to die it is fine but if we are alive after those five minutes we are wasting these five minutes. Ahimsa(Non-Violence) is the weapon the modern revolution in the world.I never understood Gandhi in my childhood and I reget it. Thank you Bapu for what all you have done for my country
Hope My mother ,sorry Our mother India will be the most developed in the years to come .
